Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is the art of developing universal conciousness through body and emotion. In the Kripalu Yoga tradition, Hatha Yoga draws a direct connection between fluid movements and the importance of developing the conciousness of the body in the space. Precise alignment, meditation, working with emotions and deep yogic breathing are the cornerstones of this creative and inspiring style of yoga.
Beginner: For newcomers to the world of yoga. Basic postures and their precise alignment will be taught wrapped in a blanket of self-discovery and yoga philosophy.
Intermediate: For those who possess a sound base in Hatha Yoga, who have been practising regularly for a few months. Vigorous vinyasa routine and the exploration of intermediate postures are to be expected.
Advanced: For those who have been practising regularly for a few years. Vigorous routine, advanced postures at a fast and energetic tempo are to be expected.
Gentle: For everyone. A slow and soft vinyasa, emphasizing on feeling emotions and sensations while holding a pose. Great for days where one feels tired, edgy, following an injury, after not practising yoga after a while or just because one feels like gentle and slow yoga.
Restaurative: For everyone. The use of props helps getting every benefit out of the yoga postures while being relaxed. Tailored-made for following an injury or a sickness, during a stressful life period, to recuperate, to pamper one-self, to relax. Some say an hour of restaurative yoga equals a day at the spa…come experience it for yourself!
